About · the founder
The system I wish I’d had.
The question you don’t know to ask is the one that costs you the most.
ResolvHQ is built by Ray Porrello — managed operational intelligence born from the money that hides in the gaps between a company’s systems.

01 The origin
It started with a spreadsheet I was proud of.
I built a spreadsheet to track every vendor we paid. It still missed a vendor that had been auto-renewing since 2021 — $34,000 / yr1 — because the spreadsheet only knew what I had thought to put in it. The charge was in the bank feed the whole time. I just did not know to look for it.
It was not the only one. A contact list that was always a little wrong. A two-hour Sunday spreadsheet that told me less than it cost. A folder of half-built automations that never quite worked. Every one of them the same shape:
The cost of not-knowing was always findable. I just didn’t have a system that surfaced it.
02 Why it is built this way
Not another dashboard to go read.
So I built the thing I actually wanted. Not a dashboard to go read. Not a consultant who leaves with all the context in their head. Not software I would have to configure and babysit.
Managed operational intelligence: an operator-run engagement on your own data, on dedicated infrastructure, that reads across the gaps and hands back what happened, why, and what to do — with the receipt and the owner. The method is the whole point, and how your data is handled is the part I refuse to hand-wave.
03 Where this is, honestly
New, small, and run by me on purpose.
Right now, every engagement is run by me. You get direct access, terms shaped around your operation, and a system that gets built around the edge cases your data throws. That attention will not survive scale — which is the honest reason to come in while it is the first cohort.
I am not going to pretend there is a support desk behind me. There is me, and a system I trust because I built it to tell me when it is wrong. The advantage is biggest before everyone has it.
04 Two quick ones
What people ask before they book.
- Is this a product or a service?
- Managed operational intelligence is an operator-run engagement. You buy a clear answer from your own data: what happened, why, what to do, and the receipt behind it. The Operational X-Ray is how that happens today.
- Who will I work with?
- Me — Ray. Right now every engagement is run by the person who built it. Not a support queue, not a junior analyst.
One way in
Let me show you what your data has been trying to tell you.
The Operational X-Ray is a fixed-scope, fixed-price look at your own data. Owner-ready findings with cited evidence, in five to ten days.
